I’m Ty, a writer and public relations specialist. I graduated from Penn State University with a bachelors in public relations, alongside minor studies in psychology and business.

I work as a news writer for the Penn State College of Engineering, specializing in research reporting. Additionally, I’m available as a freelance copywriter and public relations consultant for creative agencies and businesses.

I’ve written press releases and marketing copy, helped engineering faculty land media interviews and share their research, designed professional newsletters, managed social media content, developed press kits for local businesses and more. 

I spend my free time playing drums, rock climbing and watching Lost with my girlfriend and my cat, Pumpkin.
